Inclusion App is an Erasmus+ funded project bringing together partners from Greece, Poland, Belgium, Portugal and the UK.
The project’s primary goal is to help refugees, immigrants, and asylum seekers learn the language and culture of the host country through a mobile game. A collaborative e-learning platform will support the game with language modules on reading, writing, speaking, pronunciation and grammar. Other project elements will provide a survival guide listing all important links and connections for newcomers in any five partner countries.
The mobile game is an escape room where the player must answer questions to move through a series of rooms and win the game. Questions about the host country can be read in either the language of the country or English, Arabic, Farsi, Kurmanji, Tigrinya and Ukraine. The questions are divided into culture, language, history, geography and cuisine categories.
The Inclusionapp consortium had its second transnational project meeting in Brussels, Belgium, on the 3rd of April. They discussed gameplay and content and topics for the E-learning platform. The next steps will be to translate the app content and further develop the game and platform.
InclusionApp is in its second year of development and will conclude in January 2023.
